Otter Spotter book reading Feb 20
Join Friends of the Verde River (FoVR) for a special book launch celebration on Friday, February 20th.
They will be featuring children’s author Phoebe Fox of Mamafox Books and her newest children’s book, Otter Spotter.
Phoebe will be joining FoVR for a live reading of Otter Spotter.
It will be followed by a fun and educational introduction to the Otter Spotter program, where families can learn how to help track and protect river otters in the Verde River watershed.
If weather permits, the reading will take place outdoors; if not, it will be held inside the large community hall.
Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and pillows to get comfortable and enjoy the story.
This is a wonderful opportunity for parents, kids, educators, and community members to connect with storytelling, wildlife, and river conservation.

Copies of both children’s books by Phoebe Fox will be available, Otter Spotter and On the Verde River.
