Luau June 28th

Aloha Verde Valley!

Saturday, June 28th, starting at 6 PM we enjoyed a mouthwatering Hawaiian-themed dinner before being swept away by the graceful movements danced by Hālau Hula Nāpuaokaleiʻilima, led by the esteemed Hula Master Kēhau Chrisman.

For over two decades, Kumu Kēhau has been sharing the rich tapestry of Hawaiian culture and the spirit of aloha. Her local students transported guests with their dance while she illuminated the history and tradition woven into each one.

And the magic didn’t end there—Kumu Kēhau offered a free mini hula lesson for everyone interested at the close of the performance, inviting guests to step into the aloha themselves!

Our kid-friendly luau menu boasted something for everyone, including vegetarian and gluten-free choices: savor the smoky delight of Kālua Pork, the sweet tang of Huli Huli Chicken, flavorful Hawaiian Fried Rice, colorful Veggie Kabobs, refreshing Aloha Cole Slaw, classic Macaroni Salad, cool Hawaiian Shaved Ice, and delectable Coconut Macaroons.

Music was provided by DJ DBear of Sound Impressions Arizona for a lively background as well as playing the dance music for the dancers.

Everyone had an evening full of Aloha!
